Quotation Specialist - Gear

State Electric Supply Co. is one of the nation’s largest and most respected electrical distributors. We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Quotations Specialist - Gear to join our team. This position is housed in our Blue Ridge region and work must be performed at one of our Blue Ridge based branches.

• Obtaining market information
• Working with customers, providing them with quotes and preparing packages for various projects
• Work closely with Project Management team
• Fulfill customer project requests
• Entering change orders and handling expedite requests between contractors and manufacturers
• Negotiating pricing with manufacturers and supplying quotes to contractors for change orders
• Closely coordinating between contractors, manufacturers, manufacturer reps and the sales team to ensure material arrives correctly and on time

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree or
  
  B.Sc. in Logistics, Purchase and Supply, Business Administration or related fields are typically preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with electrical commodities such as lighting and supporting hardware is a plus
• Experience in quoting or pricing support roles preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
