and Unit Context

Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit

The College of Arts & Sciences promotes discovery and learning by students and faculty in the sciences, the humanities, and the arts. Firmly grounded in a tradition of rigorous disciplinary inquiry, the College also recognizes the value of connections made across disciplinary boundaries and so supports and encourages interdisciplinary and collaborative scholarship and teaching. The Office of Research in the College of Arts & Sciences supports faculty research, scholarship, and artistic achievement. We help identify external funding sources, plan and write competitive proposals for grants and fellowships, meet budget requirements, deadlines, and internal and external guidelines, coordinate grant administration and accounting, and navigate grant administration.

Position Summary
