ALA-accredited master’s or other advanced degree appropriate to the position.
Experience with digital collections and digital scholarship platforms, such as institutional repositories, and/or digital asset management systems. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of digital content and metadata standards. Familiarity with applying digital preservation practices to support research data management. Experience building campus or community engagement with digital scholarly collections. Understanding of the digital scholarship needs of interdisciplinary teams. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to manage digital scholarship projects. Understanding of digital humanities and digital social sciences. || Minimum Compensation in Local Currency | $60,000 || Maximum Compensation in Local Currency | Commensurate with education and experience || Salary |### Description
** Description**:
Reporting to the Interim Head of Digital Scholarship and Research Data Services, the Digital Scholarship Librarian supports faculty, students, and staff in the creation, use, and preservation of digital scholarship projects and research. This position collaborates with colleagues across the library and campus to advance digital scholarship initiatives, digital humanities projects, research data management, and open access publishing. This is a twelve-month, tenure-track assistant or associate professor position.
The work schedule includes some evenings and weekends.
