Position OverviewThe Winston‑Salem Barber School is seeking a highly organized and personable Admissions Representative to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring our admissions process runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining our high standards of communication and professionalism.
This position offers a Tuesday through Friday schedule
, providing three days off each week. As a perk, the role includes a 5‑day‑a‑week salary and paid time off

- Strong Computer Skills :
Proficient in Excel, Google Docs, texting software, and CRM management. - Communication :
Conduct initial phone interviews with prospective students and schedule in‑person interviews. Maintain consistent communication with prospective students via phone, email, and text. - Collaboration :
Work closely with the Admissions Office and Financial Aid Office to streamline the admissions process. - Workload Management :
Handle a high volume of prospective candidates monthly, juggling multiple tasks and deadlines to keep the admissions funnel full. - Customer Service :
Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor to build positive relationships with prospective students.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with many moving parts.
- Experience in admissions, education, or a related field is preferred but not required.
