The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) seeks lecturers, visiting faculty, and clinical faculty for non-tenure-track, term appointments in various schools and colleges. Appointments may be day or evening and may be renewed based on need, performance, and funding. Minimum degree requirements vary by position and may be a doctoral, terminal, or Master’s degree depending on the role.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an ethnically/culturally diverse academic setting is highly desirable.

Overview / Primary Units

Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit: Lecturers/Visiting Faculty/Clinical Faculty

Position Summary:
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) occasionally seeks applicants for full-time, term appointments as lecturers, visiting faculty, clinical faculty (School of Nursing, School of Education), and academic professional track in various colleges. These are non-tenure-track appointments that may be renewed based on continued need, satisfactory performance, and funding availability. Positions may be day or evening. The minimum degree required is typically the doctorate or terminal degree;

a Master’s degree may be appropriate for some positions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an ethnically/culturally diverse setting is highly desirable.
