Overview
Position:
Early Childhood Teacher Assistant/Floater and Substitute
Organization: UNC Greensboro, Child Care Education Program in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS)
Responsibilities- Work in early education classrooms serving children ages 0-5.
- Float between rooms as needed to provide support to teachers.
- Assist the teacher with caregiving routines and activities.
- Supervise groups of children indoors and outdoors.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as serving or cleaning after meals.
- HS Diploma
- Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 6 months experience working with young children in a licensed setting
- Recruitment Range: $15 p/h
