The ideal candidate brings deep experience in concepting video for complex, highly regulated industries, and can translate business and audience insights into emotionally resonant, consumer‑friendly stories.

The ideal candidate is never content with simple talking‑head videos, and instead is constantly seeking fresh, creative new ways to bring brands and brand stories to life, in formats from short‑form social‑first videos to CTV to long‑form and beyond.

CREATIVE & STORYTELLING EXPERTISE
  • Develop compelling, video‑first narrative frameworks and treatments that translate complex topics into clear, emotionally engaging stories.
  • Lead creative execution for video across formats including long‑form, short‑form, social, broadcast, and digital.
  • Ensure storytelling consistency and quality across all video deliverables within a campaign or account.
  • Contribute to concept development while also guiding teams through execution and refinement.
VIDEO PRODUCTION & SCALABLE CONTENT SYSTEMS
  • Support the development and execution of modular, adaptable video content systems that scale across audiences, channels, and markets.
  • Apply repeatable storytelling frameworks, templates, and production models to support efficient, high‑volume video output.
  • Partner with production, motion, and content teams to maintain quality while meeting speed and scale requirements.
  • Lead concepts that scale according to budget and schedule, from lean two‑person shoots to full‑scale productions.
INDUSTRY & BRAND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience developing creative within regulated industries such as financial services, fintech, insurance, or adjacent categories.
  • Working knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and brand‑safety considerations and how they impact video storytelling.
  • Ability to ensure all creative adheres to brand guidelines while still pushing for strong, differentiated work.
LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION
  • Manage and mentor Senior Art Directors and video‑focused creatives, providing clear, constructive feedback.
  • Lead ideation and brainstorming sessions with cross‑disciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate closely with account, strategy, media, production, and client partners to align creative output with business objectives.
  • Present creative work internally and externally, articulating both the creative idea and the strategic rationale behind it.
  • Serve as proxy for the Creative Director in select internal and client meetings when needed.
STRATEGIC THINKING
  • Translate strategic insights, customer data, and business objectives into effective video‑led creative solutions.
  • Clearly articulate the “strategic why” behind creative decisions and how the work meets defined goals and KPIs.
  • Balance creative ambition with practical execution, timelines, and budget considerations.
PROJECT & PROCESS MANAGEMENT
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day production of video and integrated creative work across multiple initiatives.
  • Partner with Project Management to inform creative hour estimates, timelines, and prioritization.
  • Help optimize creative workflows and production processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Coordinate with Creative Resourcing to support balanced workloads and cross‑pollination of talent.
TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION
  • Working knowledge of modern video production tools and workflows, including motion design, post‑production, and emerging technologies.
