Position Overview

We are seeking a driven, customer-focused professional to join our team as an Sales Representative/Project Manager. This role is a key front-line sales position responsible for developing new business, building strong client relationships, and guiding projects from initial consultation through successful completion. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their needs, presenting tailored fence solutions, and delivering accurate, competitive proposals while also ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-first approach
  • Proven experience in fence installation, estimating, or construction-related sales
  • Ability to build rapport, earn trust, and confidently present solutions to customers
  • Working knowledge of construction practices, materials, and jobsite conditions
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads, projects, and personalities
  • Positive, motivated attitude with a results-oriented mindset
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think quickly in the field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating/project management software
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Performance Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site consultations to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate fence solutions
  • Actively manage leads and opportunities, converting estimates into signed contracts
  • Clearly communicate value, options, timelines, and pricing to customers
  • Prepare accurate, competitive estimates and professional proposals that support closing the sale
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from initial sale through project completion
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded
  • Coordinate material procurement and scheduling to support timely project execution
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and communicate updates proactively
  • Collaborate closely with installation crews and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution
  • Address challenges quickly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Promote and uphold safety, quality, and company standards at all times
  • Ensure installations meet Seegars Fence Company standards, local codes, and client specifications
  • Conduct quality inspections and resolve any deficiencies promptly
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, team members, and partners
  • Complete one hour of continuing education per quarter
  • Demonstrate and uphold the Seegars Fence Company Core Values daily
