Overview

Architectural Renovation Design Consultant for KC's Improvement & Construction Co., Inc. in Greensboro, NC, US. Contract or full-time position for Residential Project Design. The consultant role is proactive, fast-moving, and an amiable communicator who excels at understanding clients and crafting transformative projects.

In this role, you will take charge of selling the initial engagement with clients, serving as a trusted advisor, and leading a team to design and price residential remodeling projects. These projects will encompass a wide range of costs, from $50,000 to $500,000.

• Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.

• Lead client consultations to understand their vision and translate it into actionable design plans.
• Develop comprehensive project proposals, ensuring clarity and alignment with client expectations.
• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional goals.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and trust.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any potential challenges proactively.

• Experience in residential design or construction, with a focus on client consultation and project management.
• Ability to develop detailed project proposals that align with client expectations and budget constraints.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and external partners.
• Ability to translate client visions into actionable design plans that balance aesthetics and functionality.
• Experience in coordinating with contractors and vendors to maintain quality standards and project timelines.
• Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to residential construction projects is a plus.

$60,000 - $140,000 yearly
