Overview
Position Title:
Counseling Center Administrative Support Associate (Administrative Support Associate) – Staff – UNC Greensboro Student Health Services. This role is located in the Counseling and Psychological Services Reception Desk area.
Recruitment Range: $36,895 - $37,262. FTE: 1.000, FLSA:
Non‑Exempt.
Open Date: 01/29/2026 – Close Date: 02/19/2026.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Reception
- Manage flow of students, handle high volumes of traffic, and protect clients’ privacy.
- Act as the initial point of contact and provide information on services and campus resources.
- Respond quickly and professionally to crisis and potentially emergency situations in person and on the phone.
- Integrate paper documents into electronic health records and maintain clinic data.
- Schedule Management
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
- Manage provider schedules for CVRC and Counseling and ensure same‑day and crisis coverage.
- Clinic Flow and Efficiency
- Ensure a welcoming office with efficient clinic flow and maintain open/closing procedures.
- Analyze internal processes, recommend procedural or policy changes, and participate in optimizing clinic operations.
- Other Duties – As assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalency, or demonstration of competencies required for the work.
- Prior experience in a university environment.
- Proficiency with Excel, Banner 9, Chrome River, and other web‑based software applications.
- Customer‑service etiquette, mental health, and psychiatry knowledge.
