Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual in the portfolio analytics role to access epidemiological databases, build early-stage models for drug potential, evaluate COGs (Cost of Goods), and make recommendations on development thresholds. The role includes building visualization tools for senior leader interaction, utilizing quantitative skills for simulations and discounted cash-flow models on advanced programs, and contributing to the evaluation of quantitative models for in-licensing opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for owning the models for a set of assets and strategic actions such as in/out licensing. This includes individual molecule long-term forecasting and potential assessment. Your role involves understanding reference drug markets, epidemiology, disease areas, treatment algorithms, IP (Intellectual Property) landscape, pricing trends, competition, and various market factors.
  • You will analyze in/out licensing opportunities, biosimilar penetration, market shares, and compute cash flow potential based on constraints, timelines, and new developments. Building financial models, conducting market intelligence, and assessing return potential, costs, and scenarios for in/out licensing are integral aspects of your responsibilities.
  • You will be responsible for the development and deployment of the Portfolio Analytics process. This includes analyzing the profitability index and assisting in developing quant/NPV (Net Present Value) based assessments of future value and priorities while assigning financial risks. Additionally, you will access various healthcare and financial databases to gain insights and data needed in the process.
  • You will be responsible for portfolio prioritization, supporting the head of Portfolio Management & Strategy, and the Strategy & Product Steering Committee in prioritizing molecules for early development. This includes establishing processes for monitoring and updating decisions based on significant changes in program valuation.
