Competitive About the Role Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded mainstream primary school in Northolt, Ealing. Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, the school offers a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with a range of special educational needs. This full-time position involves providing 1:1 and group support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a structured setting.

Key Responsibilities
-Deliver targeted 1:1 support to pupils with Autism, aligned with their EHCPs
-Collaborate with class teachers to implement tailored interventions
-Adapt and update Individual Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
-Foster development of communication, social, and life skills
-Track and monitor progress, offering regular feedback to staff and parents Requirements
-Essential:
Knowledge and experience using PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
-Willingness to support with personal care if required
-Previous experience supporting children with Autism, preferably in a primary school
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Why Join This School?
