The Role: We are seeking lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels in our BA(Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. You will need flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Plan, deliver and assess student work to meet all learning outcomes
• Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate
• Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
• Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties
• Stay current with developments in your field and student support practices
• Work toward objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression

About You:

• Hold a Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
• Have former UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter
• Have experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
• Have experience of accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records
• Can work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills
• Can work with diverse groups of people

Desirable:

• Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commit to enrol on a teaching programme during probation and complete within three years, or have a Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent)
• Have experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes or equivalent
