We are seeking versatile and detail-oriented Production Associate
to join our dynamic production team. This role involves operating machinery, assembling components, inspecting products, and packing materials to ensure high-quality output. As a Manufacturing Associate
, you will contribute to various stages of the manufacturing process while adhering to safety and quality standards. Experience with calipers and micrometers is a plus.
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machines to ensure consistent production quality.
- Perform assembly tasks
, including fitting and aligning components to meet product specifications. - Conduct inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify product dimensions.
- Pack finished products securely in appropriate containers for shipping or storage.
- Assist in maintaining machine performance by performing routine maintenance and adjustments.
- Perform quality checks to identify defects or irregularities in products.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
- Record production data, including quantities, material usage, and any quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and meet deadlines.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Support troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of equipment and processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in machine operation, assembly, inspection, or packing is preferred.
- Familiarity with calipers and micrometers is a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical capability to lift and move materials weighing up to [Insert Weight Requirement].
