Pay Range
Base pay: $20.00/hr – $23.96/hr pay is based on experience, expertise, market data, and internal equity. New hires can generally expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
General Statement of DutiesThe Banking Advisor (BA) will perform platform duties as required to ensure smooth branch operations. The BA is expected to provide a single point‑of‑contact service whenever possible, offering the customer an unparalleled experience. Depending on the branch size, the BA may have supervisory responsibilities.
- Provide unparalleled customer service during each interaction through a high level of professionalism both in person and on the phone
- Partner with other lines of business in making quality customer referrals
- Contribute to building a positive team environment
- Ensure compliance and understanding of the Bank’s policies, procedures, and legal guidelines, both new and existing
- Assume responsibility for self‑improvement through training courses (internal and external) as well as personal curiosity and inquisitiveness
- Work with management to bring in new business through relationship‑based selling to help achieve personal sales goals
- Process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and issuing official items behind the teller line as required by branch needs
- Process all routine customer requests including but not limited to wires, fraud, debit cards, research, and new accounts (consumer and small business: checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and money markets)
- Meet individual sales and service goals
- Advise customers on how our products and services can meet their financial needs
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed by the office, as assigned by the manager
- Internal candidates must be a Teller 2 with “Meets Expectations” on the previous performance review
- 1+ years of experience in a sales environment with a solid track record (including cross‑selling)
- 1+ years of banking or financial services experience
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a cash‑handling position that involved customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
