Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent girls’ boarding and day school for grades 7‑12, seeks a part‑time Cook for one evening a week. Hours are 2:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Saturday (5 hours per week) during the school year.
Located in the Pioneer Valley near the Five College Consortium, Stoneleigh-Burnham is the only girls’ school in New England to offer the IB Diploma Programme and attracts students from the local area and around the world. Our mission centers around helping our students discover and use their authentic voices. Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Produce and serve dinner one night a week for 20‑40 boarding students. Additional shifts may be available for special functions (e.g., reunion, family weekends, formal dinners).
- Ensure safe food preparation, serving, and cleaning procedures are followed by the dining staff during your shift.
- Follow recipes and prepare items in a timely manner.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Have good people skills.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
Starting pay: $17.00 per hour.
