Job Title:
Quality Control Inspector II

Reports to:

Quality Control Manager

Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector position is a vital part of ATMI-Indy's Quality Assurance System. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for accurate inspections and reporting of manufactured products against industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-pour and post-pour inspections against industry tolerances, both dimensional and aesthetic.
  • Test concrete against company and industry design tolerances.
  • Conduct concrete strength testing.
  • Complete and file reports in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of production improvements.

    Skills Required:
  • Ability to read construction blueprints, 2D and 3D.
  • Associate or BS degree in Applied Science preferred.
  • ACI and PCI 1 Certification or must obtain ACI within 6 months of employment.
  • Ability to use and read a measuring tape.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Acceptable attendance history.
  • Availability for a 3:00 am start time.
  • Task prioritization and time management skills.
  • Prior leadership experience in a related field preferred.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb onto or down from equipment.
  • Climb stairs/ladders and walk lengthy distances in an industrial setting.
  • Work outdoors in conditions that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and dust.
