Stanley Access Technologies seeks a Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to develop a highly motivated team and drive year over year productivity savings, inventory reduction programs and overall customer satisfaction. The Manager will be responsible for all production scheduling, materials planning, inventory management, materials strategy, and all materials project initiatives. This position is also a key enabler of lean and continuous improvement in the plant.
In addition, this position is accountable for materials department indirect and direct labor productivity. Key performance indicators for this position are inventory turns, on-time shipping to requested date and/or order fill rate, and days past due.

What You Will Do:- Facilitate a culture of employee engagement and continuous improvement to achieve objectives in safety, quality, delivery, lead-time and cost.
- Ensures optimization of all materials management activities including material availability, scheduling, material and information flow, purchasing, inventory control, materials movement, supplier performance measurement, and indirect materials management.
- Facilitates interaction with Sourcing, Engineering, Accounting, Marketing, Enterprise Excellence, Operations, Human Resources and Quality Assurance in support of the business’s strategic goals.
- Management of escalation process including two-way communication with field and sales personnel to ensure alignment of expectations.
- Develops and drives root cause problem solving and countermeasures for underperforming key processes and/or material suppliers.
- Provide leadership in selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of materials functions and Allegion’s operating goals and objectives.
- Manage suppliers, materials and inventory in a manner consistent with the requirements of a lean manufacturing environment.
- Participates in monthly SIOP meetings and ensures alignment of the production plan to the published SIOP consensus plan.
- Drives continuous improvement to material and information flow.
- Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and delegating.
- Drive improved supplier relationships and engage alternative suppliers as need to ensure source of supply is consistent.
- Drives material function improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and people using the MDI (Managing Daily Improvement) process.
- Create a team-building environment in which direct and indirect report can live the Allegion values.
- Lead and improve inventory accuracy and develop and execute regular cycle counting along with annual physical inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering discipline.
- Preferred experience in a world-class lean operation
- APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) (desired)
