Key Responsibilities:

  • Process shipments using UPS, Fed Ex, and freight carriers.
  • Package products safely and securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation in compliance with shipping regulations.
  • Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to guarantee products meet established standards and specifications.
  • Notify your supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions promptly.
  • Record all shipping activities in the inventory management system and update stock levels as needed.
  • Complete any other assigned tasks to support smooth operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) to manage communications and documentation effectively.
  • Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to support team collaboration.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Assist in keeping the receiving area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in shipping within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and computer applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive, supportive workplace.
