Sprinkle & Ashley CPA is hiring!! We are seeking a team member to support our business and accounting department. This team member will work directly with firm partners and staff to provide tax, accounting and consulting services to individual and small business clients.

Objectives

• Preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, trust and estate tax returns
• Preparation of prepared and compiled financial statements
• Review and maintain monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliations/adjustments for clients in various accounting programs
• Collaborate with firm colleagues to provide business and individual tax planning services
• Conduct basic and complex tax research as necessary
• Work with taxing agencies to resolve tax issues
• Knowledge of payroll and sales taxes

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of Quick Books Desktop and Quick Books Online preferred but not required
• Familiarity with software such as Ultra Tax, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to navigate various technology applications and hardware
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High standard of professional ethics and judgement
• Self-motivated with strong attention to organization and time management
• Team player who builds positive relationships with coworkers and clients
