MATERIALS CLERK– This position will work to ensure that all product in the warehouse is properly labeled and located in SAP in the appropriate locations. This position works to maintain inventory accuracy so that parts can be delivered to production as requested in a timely manner.

This position reports to Warehouse Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

• Ensure that any part requests orders are delivered to the production floor as requested in a timely manner
• Ability to transfer product in SAP from the Warehouse to the appropriate production floor storage locations with the scanner
• Ability to troubleshoot common SAP errors during warehouse transactions
• Maintain the accuracy of the warehouse rack inventory system by performing rack checks as assigned
• Order truck delivery from outside warehouse to the plant based on production requests
• Work to file pack slips correctly and ensure all necessary transfers are made from the outside warehouse to the plant in SAP
• Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly Warehouse and all surrounding areas
• Assist with any assigned 5S and LEAN housekeeping initiatives
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

• Previous experience in Warehouse preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP a plus
• Forklift Experience preferred. Ability to obtain all JOST International Fork Truck Certification
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

• Work is performed in a warehouse area 100% of the time
• While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
