The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust.
This position drives sales and builds and retains a book of business within the market / retail location. This role attracts and generates new customers and cross-sells existing customers in support of our product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance. The role sells to walk-in customers and markets products outside the office via marketing calls and in-person visits to create community relationships and promote continued growth.

- Attract and generate new customers and cross-sell existing customers across product lines (Auto, Life, Auto Club, Roadside Assistance).
- Build rapport and trust with customers to drive profitable growth and achieve business goals.
- Create community relationships to promote continued growth and maintain a book of business within the market / retail location.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 0 – 2 years of experience
- P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Competencies:
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross-sell / retention of customers.
- Leverages community contacts to continually build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in the community to create multiple centers of influence / referral sources.
- Initiates outbound calling to an established target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitors competitors in the local market and suggests initiatives to improve the company’s position.
- Plans, implements, and manages marketing and sales processes with Direct Sales Leadership to achieve production and growth goals.
- Delivers optimal results within metrics including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, compliant with rules, procedures, and standards.
- Understands and remains current on underwriting guidelines and policy changes.
- Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies cash drawer reports.
- Unlicensed Candidates:
Base compensation $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. - Licensed Candidates (Auto or P&C):
Total compensation may include incentive pay, such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance, in addition to base hourly rate.
