• Maintain machines and associated equipment – including robotics.
• Conduct sampling of new molds and materials.
• Direct the daily duties of the personnel assigned to their area.
• Maintain records as required.
• Maintain equipment and ensure workspace is clean and orderly.
• Troubleshoot robots and other automation machinery.
• Conduct studies on production, labor, equipment, and material costs.
• Practice a variety of molding processes.
• Use data collection (Plant Star, Kistler, Maximator) modules effectively.
• Train and perform the duties of material handlers and operators as required.
• Assure that all quality assurance measures are followed to the control plan for each product.

• High School Education / GED.
• Journeyman’s card preferred.
• 5‑7 years previous experience in plastics in a set‑up capacity.
• Previous experience with 10‑500 ton capacity machines.
