• Visit residents on the assigned unit daily to observe and evaluate each resident’s physical and emotional status and notify the charge nurse, physician, and/or Director of Nursing of any changes.
• Identify resident problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures when no physician is available.
• Provide holistic care within the scope of the LPN license.
• Assist in monitoring the inventory of medications, medical supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate availability.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting as necessary.
• Report occupational exposures to blood, bodily fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals following facility policies.

• Valid, current state LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
