Drone Applicator Internship - Green Creek Drones
The Drone Applicator Internship offers hands‑on experience with precision agriculture technology. Interns will read and interpret maps while flying ag tech drones with strong attention to detail and log notes. In this internship, you will also communicate with growers, other pilots, and ag retailers. Interns must obtain a FAA Part 107-Remot Pilot certificate and Pesticide License for aerial application.

$18 – $24 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures.
- Obtain FAA Part 107-Remote Pilot certificate to commercially fly drones
- Acquire applicable Pesticide Licensing for aerial application
- Read and interpret maps to locate specific fields and field borders
- Communicate clearly with growers, other drone pilots, and ag retailers
- Keep a strong attention to detail in logging application notes
- Hands on experience with ag tech drones
- Must have a good driving record
- Self‑motivating personality as well as team building skills
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively without direct supervision
- Exceptional time management, multitasking, accounting, and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
The nature of the business will require extended hours. While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical equipment and in outside weather conditions. Exposure to fumes or dust, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration is possible. Noise level in work environment is usually loud.
TravelThe employee may be required to travel to other locations, conferences, educational opportunities, and other job‑related activities.

- Eligible for 401k after age 21 and worked one year and 1,000 hours
- Steel toe boot reimbursement of $75 annually
- Paid Time for All after 90 days, earn 1 hour for 40 hours worked
- Eligible for Employee Hardship Fund after worked 1,000 hours
