At SWCSD #2, we are dedicated to Graduating students who are Ready for Industry and Purpose (GRIP). We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking leader for Green River High School who will bridge the gap between rigorous academic standards and real-world success. Core Leadership Pillars

* Instructional Leadership & Academic Excellence:
You will serve as the "Lead Learner," utilizing evaluation tools effectively to coach staff and co-creating professional development that grows our educators.

* Ready for Industry &

Purpose:

You will lead our "Graduating with a Purpose" initiative, ensuring every studentwhether college, career, or military boundgraduates with a clear, actionable pathway.

* Strategic Partnerships:
You will advocate for and expand our collaborative programs with Western Wyoming Community College (WWCC) and the University of Wyoming (UW), maximizing Dual and Concurrent Enrollment.

* Holistic Student Engagement:
You will supervise and support a robust culture of athletics and activities, ensuring excellence and safety in all extracurricular environments.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

1. Academic & Instructional Leadership

* Teacher Growth:
Utilize district evaluation tools effectively to provide high-impact, actionable feedback. Move beyond compliance to a growth-oriented model that supports professional excellence.

* Professional Development:
Create, co-create, and lead PD that is data-driven and transformative, fostering a culture where educators feel supported in their professional growth.

* Pipeline Strength:
Coordinate with WWCC and UW to manage and grow our Dual and Concurrent Enrollment courses, ensuring high academic rigor and maximum transferability.

* Strategic Alignment:
Implement innovative strategies that align building goals with the District Strategic Plan to improve Improve Wellness and Safety, Improve Student Achievement, and Improve Communication and Collaboration

2. Pathway Innovation & CTE Oversight

* CTE Visionary:
Provide leadership for the CTE Renovation & Expansion project, ensuring new facility upgrades (HVAC, Electrical, and expanded shops) translate into industry-recognized certifications and Work-Based Learning (WBL).

* Diverse Pathways:
Support all students in their chosen trajectorybe it a four-year university, technical trade, or military service ensuring they graduate with a defined purpose.

3. Athletics, Activities, & Wellness

* Extracurricular Supervision:
Oversee and support athletics and activities, ensuring they serve as extensions of the classroom that build character, leadership, and school pride.

* Safety & Wellness:
Align building practices with the Strategic Plan to Improve Wellness and Safety, creating an environment where students and staff feel secure and valued.

4. Operations, Budget, & Community

* Fiscal Responsibility:
Manage building-level financial affairs with strict discipline, ensuring resources are utilized to produce the highest return for student learning.

* Collaboration:

Foster deep connections with local industry, higher education partners, and the Green River community to improve Communication and Collaboration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* The Lead Learner:
Mastery of evidence-based instructional strategies and the ability to mentor staff effectively.

* The Bridge-Builder:
Ability to navigate the complexities of higher education partnerships and integrate those opportunities into the daily schedule.

* The Communicator:
Ability to inspire students, parents, and staff around a shared vision of "Graduating with a Purpose."

Qualifications Profile

* Certification/License:
Wyoming State Certification as required for the position.

* Education:

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in School Administration.

* Experience:

Extensive successful teaching experience at the High School level. Successful administrative experience is highly preferred, with a track record of effective teacher evaluation, PD design, and oversight of activities/athletics.
