Vallencourt Construction Company Inc. is seeking an efficient GPS excavator operator to excavate ponds and trenches to desired grades. This role involves operating excavators under various field conditions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety protocols.

• Efficiently operate excavator with GPS.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications.
• Effectively complete excavation and related tasks such as back filling excavations and breaking concrete or rock using appropriate equipment.
• Reshape a site’s terrain by digging and moving quantities of earth or rock.
• Conduct routing inspections before operating equipment to identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform a variety of physically demanding tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Work under various field and weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with Foreman.
• Work weekends if requested by Foreman.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, kneel, bend, twist, push and pull.
• Must wear required PPE per safety manual and OSHA regulations.
• Must have reliable transportation to jobsites, which may be 10–80 miles away.
• Must be drug‑free; medical drug cards are not accepted.
• Entry level experience is acceptable; full‑time commitment required.
