Overview
Northeast Asphalt - A Walbec Group Company in Northeastern Wisconsin is seeking a Lowboy Driver to contribute to road, highway, and bridge construction projects. This role focuses on transporting heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently while supporting project teams.

We are looking for a Lowboy Driver to assist in the transportation of heavy construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Role and Responsibilities- Operate a tractor and trailer lowboy/flat to perform assigned tasks related to road construction, repair, and paving.
- Secure loads safely and unsecure as required.
- Safely transport equipment and materials via tractor and trailer to job sites; work with foreman on site during loading and unloading heavy equipment and materials.
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

- Northeast Asphalt operates primarily in Northeastern Wisconsin, with projects in the local area and nearby states. Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel, is required as needed.
- Minimum two (2) years of tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and loads
- Valid Class A CDL with “N” endorsement, current Federal Medical card, and satisfactory driving record
- Experience with various types of heavy equipment
- Some mechanical aptitude, training, and/or experience
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with others, working knowledge of FMCSA regulatory rules
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred

- Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments
- Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member are required (union membership may not be required prior to employment)
