Salisbury, North Carolina – on-site at Imperial Supplies distribution center.

We are hiring a full‑time Shipping Coordinator (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM). No weekends or holidays. Day 1 benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; six paid holidays; and a 401(k) with a 6% employer match and immediate vesting.

• Coordinate picking, checking, packing, and shipping functions.
• Set pick priorities and handle rush orders.
• Trace customer shipping issues using the Parcel Manifest system.
• Work with carrier personnel on shipment documentation and pickup requirements.
• Train new personnel on Shipping Lines and Parcel Manifesting System, including SOPs and use of powered industrial equipment and shipment processing equipment.
• Assist the Crew Leader in monitoring the proficiency of each team member in the Shipping department.
• Coordinate Shipping supply stocks and reorder inventories with the Purchasing Department.
• Manage the movement and restock of cardboard at packing stations.
• Ensure company asset control involving materials movement and handling equipment.

• General knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
• Average math skills.
• Effective reading and writing skills.
• Problem‑solving ability.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to spend much of your time standing and walking in a warehouse environment.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
