Drive a tractor-trailer between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight. Shift Monday-Friday, dayshift.

• Pay: $30.93/Hour to start; $32.17/Hour after first year.

  Monday-Friday (Dayshift).

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely while picking up and delivering general freight.
• Transport freight between terminals.
• Load and unload trailer, individually or with assistance of dockworkers.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight.
• Secure freight through strapping or other methods.
• Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy.
• Comply with all Federal requirements regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
• Drive tractor-trailer in all conditions in accordance with Federal regulations.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver’s logs.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Minimum age of 23.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must pass a road test administered by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
• Must possess, or obtain within the required time period, Hazardous Material and Tanker endorsements on current valid driver’s license.
• Must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must pass DOT physical examination and functional screen.
• Must consent to pre-employment drug screen; negative result required.
• Must have the ability to read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Employment is at-will.

• Lifting up to 100 lbs from ground level to 45”.
• Front carry up to 100 lbs for 250 feet.
• Push/pull up to 60 lbs of horizontal force.
• Sitting up to 10 hours per day; standing and walking frequently.
• Climbing, squatting, crouching, balancing, or kneeling occasionally.
• Vision, hearing, and smell used during driving and inspection.
• May be exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, wetness, dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals.
