Position: W-2 Eligibility Specialist/FEP
Location: FSC Green Bay, FSC Madison Aberg or FSC Wausau
In this role, you will serve as a key point of entry for individuals seeking W-2 services by completing initial eligibility determinations and guiding clients through the enrollment process. You will meet with clients by phone, in person, or through video conferencing to assess readiness for W-2 participation, explain available services, and support completion of all required steps and verifications.
The W-2 Eligibility Specialist/FEP also completes Job Access Loan (JAL) eligibility reviews when requested and ensures clients understand loan expectations and responsibilities. Throughout the process, you will promote the Transition to Success (TTS) model, introduce tools such as the CARE Network and Map of My Dreams, and support Forward Service Corporation (FSC)’s mission through clear communication and consistent, client-centered support.
Position Overview – Key Responsibilities (Full details on attached job description):
Responsibilities- Conducts initial W-2 eligibility determinations, including Job Access Loan (JAL) eligibility when applicable, in accordance with program policies and timelines.
- Meets with clients via phone, in person, or video conferencing to assess needs, explain W-2 services, and guide enrollment steps.
- Assists clients in gathering, submitting, and verifying required documentation to ensure timely enrollment and assignment to an ongoing W-2 case manager.
- Manages assigned applications and tasks within state systems, maintaining accurate documentation, case notes, and compliance with W-2 and FSC standards.
- Coordinates referrals and introduces additional resources when W-2 services alone do not fully meet client needs.
- Promotes the CARE Network, Map of My Dreams, and the Transition to Success (TTS) model to support employment planning and goal setting.
- Competitive starting wage: $24.56/hour
- $1/hour increase upon successful completion of FEP training

- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A genuine commitment to helping others succeed
- Willingness to earn and maintain required FEP and TTS Coach certifications
