Abb Vie is seeking a field‑based Specialty Representative for eye care to support our portfolio of innovative therapies. This position is located in Green Bay, WI and requires candidates who live within reasonable distance from the primary city.

Job DescriptionThis role is field‑based and focuses on delivering sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver sales performance and meet or exceed brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create pre‑call plans and execute post‑call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
- Handle objections, concerns, and consistently gain logical calls to action to close every sales call.
- Proactively serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win‑win agreements.
- Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics, optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers, and maximizes access and sales opportunities.
- Build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease state, product, clinical and sales expertise, and share market intelligence with in‑field, brand, and sales management teams.
- Differentiate Abb Vie’s value proposition with health providers, identify and maintain disease‑state experts, and mobilize speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business, or relevant industry experience; equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
- At least five (5) years of relevant industry experience, with three (3) or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- In‑depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; recognized as an expert resource by stakeholders.
- Proven track record of success in selling, solid presentation skills, and ability to operate effectively in matrix environments.
- Ability to innovate ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and respond to change.
- Strong leadership and influence skills, with experience in collaborative partnership and peer coaching.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive personal or company vehicle.
- Will satisfy all applicable healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain them in good standing.
- Preferred:
Proven sales performance in therapeutic areas, physician/account‑based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing;
English language proficiency.
External:
Specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the therapeutic brand area.
Internal:
In‑field team members, sales management (DSM), marketing management, training, customer excellence, and brand plan stakeholders.
- The compensation range is the range of possible base pay at the time of posting. Individual compensation will vary by geographic location and other factors.

- This position is eligible to participate in short‑term incentive programs.
