Seasonal Bay Facility Attendant

Responsible for the preparation and sales of food products, souvenirs, admissions, and rentals.

• Provides customer service.
• Stocks sales areas with supplies and monitors inventory.
• Prepares items for sale and completes accurate sales transactions.
• Assists in opening the facility and inspecting the area.
• Maintains and cleans concession equipment and related areas.
• Follows all policies, procedures, and the philosophy that is set forth by the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Experience working with the public and customer service experience and/or training desirable.
• Experience or training in food service; experience in concession sales desirable.

A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.

• Working knowledge of recreation facilities. Knowledge and skill in proper customer service techniques.
• Skill and ability in cash handling.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to read and perform basic calculations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work the required hours of the position.

Ability to perform the following activities:

• Lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, squatting, crouching, and kneeling.
• Occasional sitting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions.
