Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state
- Certifications Requirements: BLS certification; NIHSS preferred
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Other Requirements: Ability to float within scope of practice; strong wound care and invasive procedures skills; excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions, including orthopedics, respiratory, and chronic illnesses.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV drips such as insulin and heparin in accordance with physician orders.
- Perform wound care procedures, including dressing changes, wound vac management, and drain management, ensuring optimal wound healing.
- Operate and troubleshoot hospital equipment such as IV pumps (Alaris), EPIC EMR documentation, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including CNA, RT, hospitalist, and OT/PT/ST, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
