Job Description

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full‑time Shear Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift.

• Set up the Haven Shear and End Finisher and make adjustments to ensure accurate product is being produced.
• Complete daily safety inspections of the shear and end finisher.
• Cut the correct materials according to the shop orders.
• Change blades as necessary.
• Change and adjust machines based on tubing diameter and length.
• Transport bundles of steel tubing utilizing a hoist system.
• Perform multiple tasks to meet ISO Quality Standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience (but not required).
• Communication skills.
• Computer knowledge.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to take measurements using the decimal system.
• Ability to read KI print will be useful.

• Working in areas where it can get warm.
• Working in a smoke‑free environment.
• Activities include standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow.

This is a 2nd Shift position. Hours are 2pm – 10pm, Monday – Friday. Shift premium of $2.00/hour. Overtime during busy season.
