Overview
LaForce is looking for a 1st Shift Metal Fabricator to play a key role in producing high-quality hollow metal frames and components. Your hands-on work will help ensure precision, safety, and reliability on every project.
ScheduleMonday - Thursday, 6:30am - 3:00pm;
Friday, 6:30am - 12:30pm
Pay: $19/hr. and up based on experience.
What You ll Do- Set up and operate CNC Mechanical Shears, Hydraulic Press Brakes, and Punch Presses.
- Operate spot-welding equipment.
- Read and interpret shop orders, drawings, and frame templates.
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and production records.
- Support other fabrication operations as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 months of related fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred (training provided).
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, work instructions, and procedures.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds.
- Pushing/pulling up to pounds of force.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, sitting, and forklift operation.
