KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award‑winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full‑time Automation Specialist to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00. Job Duties- Develop and edit robot programs.
- Troubleshoot/rectify welding issues.
- Identify and correct fixture and part intolerance issues.
- Systematically continue to complete items on personal development plan.
- Use detailed and complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Operate pneumatic tools.
- Work with the Maintenance team, Engineers, Managers, and the Tool & Die team to implement new equipment installations.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- PC Literacy.
- Formal robot program training.
- Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience.
- Team player.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to train on any shift.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to follow all safety procedures.
- Working in areas where it can get warm.
- Working in a smoke‑free environment.
- Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow.
- Shift: 2:00 pm–10:00 am, Monday–Friday.
- Shift premium of $2.00/hour.
- Overtime at times will be mandatory.
