Responsibilities: Candidates will work in settings that involve animal harvesting and product preparation for shipment. This may include using hand tools such as knives and hooks, as well as powered equipment like saws, skinners, or other powered knives.

Job Tasks:

• Unloading and segregating live animals humanely and preparing them for the harvest floor.
• Stunning animals humanely to proceed to harvest.
• Removing hides using knives and powered equipment.
• Harvesting blood and preparing it for customers.
• Trimming carcasses to remove contaminants.
• Harvesting offal products and preparing them for customers.
• Operating scales for accurate weighing for payments and shipments.
• Breaking down carcasses and saving primals as per customer specifications.
• Trimming products to meet customer requirements.
• Boxing and bagging trims and primals.
• Using lifts to move products into storage and prepare for shipment.
• Shipping products as orders are received.
