The Project Manager – Construction manages the full construction project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through completion. Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems, coordinating all direct communication with client and contractors.
Responsibilities- Oversees all local operations in the assigned market, including supervision of employees and contractors to organize and ensure quality of work for fiber drops (aerial and underground), as well as in-home installations.
- Coordinates project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules.
- Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management.
- Acts as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems.
- Selects, negotiates with, and coordinates the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience.
- Requires 1+ years of Telecommunications installation experience, and in leadership positions. Fiber drop installation experience preferred.
