The Director of Dining Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for allcampus dining services at UW Green Bay. This role serves as the primary liaison to the University’s third party dining and vending partner, Chartwells, ensuring exceptional service delivery, continuous improvement, and a dining experience that exceeds the evolving expectations of students, faculty, staff, and guests. The Director of Dining Services will lead abold, campus wide dining transformation in collaboration with Chartwells, introducing new concepts, elevating food quality, improving service efficiency, and redesigning the overall dining experience.
This will require innovation, performance monitoring, and accountability across operations, quality, and customer satisfaction.

** Key
Job Responsibilities:
*** Oversee the operations, safety and security of Student Union facilities, event services, maintenance, and equipment
* Responds to emergency situations such as fire, hazardous material, and medical emergencies
* Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative and staffing resources, and alignment with the strategic plan
* Supervises student engagement initiatives such as student organization management and advising, student governance advising, student programs and activities, and entertainment contracts
* Serves as the liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups providing organizational information
* Builds inclusive and collaborative partnerships and events within the community
* Executes and oversees self-operated and/or contracted auxiliary services and operations which may include university dining, bookstore, banking, vending, and other services
* Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees

** Compensation Range of $78,900 to $110,000. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

* Required Qualifications:
*** Associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, food service management, or a related field
* Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in dining services, hospitality, or facilities management
* Demonstrated ability to lead improvement initiatives and manage complex operations
* Experience overseeing contracted vendors or third-party service providers
* Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills
* Serv Safe certification, or acquired within 90 days of employment
