Overview
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Student - Building/Grounds Maintenance (Student Laborer-General) in Green Bay, Wisconsin. These positions are represented by Local No. 420 IUOE and start in May or June. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm during the summer months. Starting Pay: $19.22.
End Date: 02/22/2026. Posting Range: $19.22 – $21.43. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary within the pay range will be based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, shift, travel, collective bargaining agreements, and business needs.
Responsibilities- Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance (e.g., dusting, sweeping, painting, equipment/facility cleaning & maintenance, unloading & loading warehouse products, garbage removal, general cleaning).
- Outdoor Maintenance (e.g., yard maintenance/planting, lawn mowing, painting, snow removal, wash/dry vehicles, equipment & facilities, basic landscaping, window washing).
- All Other Laborer Duties as Assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Enrolled as a part-time or full-time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor, or master degree.
- A valid driver’s license.
