Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full time JANITOR position.

Location: Ashwaubenon School District - 1055 Griffiths Lane, Green Bay, WI 54304.

Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Pay: $15.00 per hour.

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly; performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of approved materials and equipment; sanitizes all surfaces; follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor and performs duties in accordance with all federal, state and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet; contributes to the team with professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• No previous experience required.
• Willing to train and learn essential cleaning duties and safety procedures.
