Diocese of Green Bay is seeking an assistant under the direction of the Cemetery & Mausoleum Services Supervisor. Responsibilities include performing burials, entombments, inurnment duties, and maintaining cemetery grounds and mausoleum facilities.

• Perform burials, entombments, and inurnments
• Maintain cemetery grounds and mausoleum facilities
• Assist in cemetery and mausoleum operations and equipment usage
• Act in the absence of the Cemetery & Mausoleum Services Supervisor
• Prepare and interpret cemetery maps, interment orders, lot cards

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Familiar with cemetery and mausoleum layout
• Working knowledge of cemetery and mausoleum operations and equipment
• Valid WI driver's license
• Basic understanding of Christian burial rites and traditions
• Knowledge of potential biohazards and all safety issues
• Basic computer knowledge
• Proficient mechanical skills and ability to operate heavy equipment (backhoe, skid steer)
• Motivational, customer service, employee relations, cooperative, self‑motivated
• Active listening skills; ability to follow directions, make decisions quickly
• Professional conduct, confidentiality, and tactful communication with families, vendors, funeral directors, clergy, and parish personnel
