Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, reliable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/ Paralegal to join our team in the areas of real estate, business law, estate planning and probate. This position will provide support to our team by communicating with clients, managing document preparation and correspondence and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Effectively communicate with clients
- Assist with drafting legal documents, including letters, contracts deeds and other agreements
- File and maintain legal documents in an organized manner
- Assist attorneys with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy
- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, other attorneys and court personnel
- A minimum two years of previous experience working as a Legal Assistant or paralegal or in a similar role is requested.
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks, such as drafting and filing documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with document review processes and procedures
