Medical Surgical Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• 3 months of experience with Point Click Care  is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Staffency Program - Bellin and no current placement allowed at Program:
Staffency Program - Bellin.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have experience with venipuncture and Cardizem.

Special Requests: candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start

• 36-48

• Weekend/Holiday:
Every other weekend and holiday rotation

• On Call/Call Back Requirements: none

Floating Requirements: Traveler will be floating as needed within skillset to observation unit, Cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab and/or transitional care unit and gaining their comfort surrounding this. Facility will try and keep them in 1-2 like units, but have the potential to float to another unit.

14 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 7

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required
