Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Minimum Experience:
  
  1-2+ years Med/Surg experience
• Must have experience with venipuncture and Cardizem is required
• Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: BLS (American Heart) & Active RN or Compact license, NIHSS
  • NIHSS certification preferred for submissions, completion of cert is required prior to end of orientation. Certification provided through Bellin's Apex Innovations, at no charge to the traveler.

  Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Bellin Health
• Weekend/Holiday:
  Every other weekend and holiday rotation

• Shift Requirements: 12 NOC (7p-730a)
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36-48 (minimum of 36, up to 48.)
• Float Team Position:
  Traveler will be floating as needed within skillset to observation unit, Cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab and/or transitional care unit and gaining their comfort surrounding this. Facility will try and keep them in 1-2 like units, but have the potential to float to another unit.

• Ratios:
  Day shift 1:4, Pm shift 1:4/1:5 & NOC shift 1:6 occasionally 1:7
• ** candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start
• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
