Patient Service Representative – Allouez

Prevea Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to join our team in Allouez, Green Bay, Wisconsin.

This full‑time position (40 hours per week) is benefit eligible and offers a supportive work environment focused on kindness, responsibility, inclusivity, wellness, and inspiration.

Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative acts as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming experience through phone, in‑person, or online (MyPrevea). The role coordinates communication among patients, family members, medical staff, providers, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate communication between patients, family members, medical staff, providers, and administrative staff via phone, in person, or MyPrevea.
  • Obtain and confirm accurate demographic and insurance coverage information.
  • Route medical inquiries, complaints, and messages to appropriate parties.
  • Assist patients and callers with financial inquiries, including policies, insurance payments, and other financial needs.
  • Collect required payments, including co-payments, outstanding balances, and payments due at the time of service.
  • Complete account, referral, and claim edit workflows and maintenance in assigned work queues.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  • Provide accurate daily batch and/or deposits to appropriate staff for processing.
Education & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and/or GED required.
  • 1‑3 years experience in customer service, insurance, and/or healthcare settings.

  • Proficient telephone and computer skills with clear and professional speaking abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service by assessing patient needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating satisfaction.
  • Empathetic and responsive to patient needs through active listening, appropriate questioning, and continual improvement.
  • Efficient multi‑tasking and ability to adapt to fast‑pace environments with frequently changing protocols.
  • Positive and supportive interaction with staff members across the company, promoting teamwork.
