We’re seeking an experienced and inspiring NICU Manager to lead our neonatal intensive care team in providing exceptional, family-centered care to our most fragile patients.

About the RoleAs the NICU Manager
, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role offers an incredible opportunity to lead a dedicated team that combines advanced clinical expertise, quality and safety and process improvement with deep compassion for newborns and their families.
You will oversee the daily operations of the unit, ensure high-quality patient outcomes, foster professional growth among staff, and promote a culture aligned with HSHS’s core values of Respect, Care, Competence, and Joy

- Provide leadership and mentorship to NICU nurses and interdisciplinary team members.
- Oversee operational performance, including staffing, budgeting, quality metrics, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with physician leaders, APNP’s and administrative partners to advance neonatal outcomes and safety initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, compassion, and excellence in patient- and family-centered care.
- Support professional development through coaching, education, and recognition programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required;
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. - Current RN license in the State of WI.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of NICU nursing experience; at least 1–2 years in a progressive leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative and mission-driven approach to managing teams and improving care.
