Overview
We offer a dynamic schedule with various shifts with both day and evening hours, occasional weekends. Should be comfortable with occasional on-call responsibilities and willing to adjust hours for emergencies or team support.
ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time on-site role located at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, WI. The NICU Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients and supporting the professional growth of the team. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, monitoring and improving patient care policies, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
In addition, the NICU Supervisor will serve as a resource for both staff and patients’ families, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal care, along with in-depth knowledge of NICU practices and procedures. 3-5 years NICU experience in Level III NICU required.
- Leadership and team management skills, including experience in staff supervision, mentoring, and conflict resolution
- Organizational and critical thinking abilities to manage workflow and make informed clinical decisions
- Proficiency in medical technology and equipment commonly used in NICU settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
- BSN required
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient and family-centered care
