Monday‑Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
This position may travel occasionally to outlying facilities. No holidays or weekends.

Our cardiology practice helps people live healthier lives through prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease. We provide advanced cardiac services and strive for superior patient outcomes.

• Assist nursing staff with patient care tasks.
• Prepare and cleanse patient rooms.
• Take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate).
• Provide direct patient care and interact with patients and families.
• Perform medical abstracting: extract data from patient charts and prepare charts for provider visits.
• Assist physicians as a medical scribe, recording patient histories, examinations, treatment plans, and other details into electronic health records.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Order medication refills under physician/PA/NP direction.
• Conduct patient transfers within the facility.
• Ensure efficient room turnover and cleaning procedures.
• Transport equipment, instruments, linen, and waste.
• Follow standard precautions for decontamination of instruments, equipment, rooms, and ancillary items.
• Assist with sorting, counting, packing, wrapping, sterilization, and storage of instruments.
• Perform inventory, restocking, and ordering as needed.
• Remove sutures as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical, safe, and compliant practices at all times.

• Valid certification from an accredited Nursing Assistant program.
• Certified to perform CNA duties in the state of employment.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Computer literate; EPIC experience is a plus.
